It’s a beautiful Spring day …

Today has been a beautiful day!  I took my Quaker parrot and put him on the porch.  He loves it out there.  It’s nice and warm in the sun.  It is, however, quite windy.  I’m thinking it’s probably going to rain tomorrow.  I went out to check on my flower beds.  The Irises are about six to eight inches high;  buttercups are thick; lamb’s ears are double from last year … Here are some photos from last year’s flowers:
I’ve been knitting a scarf that I absolutely love … but the colors are impossible to photograph.  I have a photo but it’s not as pretty as “in person”.  I’m using #10.5 needles, Red Heart Plush in Grenadine and Moda Dea Jai Alai in Damson.  I love this color combination.  It’s got a lime green color placed sporadically throughout.   It’s bright and cheery and will look nice on my cousin next winter.
